Alessio Cornia
Alessio Cornia, Ph.D. in “Social and Political Theory and Research”, has been working for the Department Institutions and Society at the University of Perugia as a researcher since 2004.
He took part at several international research project co-founded by the EU Commission: the Adequate Information Management in Europe (AIM) (Sixth Framework Programme), aimed at creating a better understanding of news reporting in Europe, and the Opti-Alert Project (Seventh Framework Programme), aimed at enhancing the efficiency of alerting systems through personalized and culturally sensitive communication. His research interests focus on European journalism, political communication and election campaigns analysis.
